Introduction:
This is a 5 module skill development course designed for drivers working in hostile environment.
The importance of the course is essentially to ensure that drivers drive in a manner that utilizes safe driving strategies by identifying hazards in a predictable manner and applying well informed actions that will completely eliminate or reduce the exposure of passengers to the risk of Road Traffic Incidents or Accidents. This training goes beyond instructions on basic traffic laws and procedures.
Though the training is delivered online, it does not in any way take away those critical elements that guide the right actions and decisions of drivers at that crucial moment and always.
This course will tie properly with our free Smash and Grab course- driving safely against traffic criminals.
Benefits of the course:
Data has shown that most VIPs, key staff (both local and expatriates) are most vulnerable to attacks or be involved in hazardous and compromising situations while transiting from one point to another.
The importance of this training is to up-skill drivers on how to identify and manage risks which road users especially principals are exposed to which are resultants of poor security situation across the country.
Drivers will learn:
- How to drive safely both within and inter cities and states.
- How to drive in convoy
- Identify false check points and how to avoid them
- Limit of speed within cities and when doing inter-state travels
- Manage an accident scene
- Avoid ambush and safely drive through an ambush
- Assess security situation before and while on a trip
- How to manage traffic enforcement agents
- How to safely drive around with visitors and keep them safe.

Requirements:
- Driver’s license
- Letter of nomination from corporate organization.
